Address: Parco archeological del Colosseo, via di San Gregorio, 30, 00186 Roma
The most famous hill of Rome’s seven hills. In the ancient time this was the place to live and was filled with aristocrats and emperors. The legend says that this is the place we’re the she wolf found Romulus and Remus.
After our visit to Colosseum we decided to visit Rome´s oldest place. It was impressive to walk around in this old ancient part of Rome and imagine how it all started right here. After a short history lesson with the kids they wanted to play Hercules and the giant Cacus and imagined they destroyed all the buildings in their battles. So they explained that’s why we find all the ruins in the Palatine hill.
